Can you imagine a TED Camporee without pioneering? Which country will amaze us with their giant structures of wood and rope this year?
For all who are planning on pioneering at their campsites, please be aware that the poles are the property of the campsite we are staying at. We have also hired more poles so that each country has enough to build spectacular structures. In total, each country/union may use 1,5 poles per person. Please do not take more and use your own ropes.
Since we are using someone else’s poles, it is strictly forbidden to cut the poles! Different length poles are available, the most being 2m, 4m, and 6 meters long. So please come prepared with a clear idea of how many poles you would like to use of which length.
On arrival your representative will be told where and when you can collect your poles. At the end of the camp, please return the poles to the same pile/container you got them from.
